Who has Kiss Me Kate? Does it Ball?
Comments (36)@Lilyfinch z9a Murrieta Ca @Michelle Bickhaus @haku84_zone9 & Friends My Kiss Me Kate had a nice showing first season 2021, a newbie, so bloomed only a tiny bit afyerwards. Looking forward to her maturing this year & more reoeat blooms, but she is always healthy & gorgeous blooms! She was a little new bush but had about 15-20?blooms 2021 first flush.bShe’s in 1/2 shade/sun. If she doesnt bloom enough, I’ll move her....See Moreeveryone needs a kiss me kate
Comments (39)Mine gets full sun for most of the day, shade from about 4 o’clock on. It grows tall really fast, easily ten feet straight up under the eaves, not wider than 5 ft along the wall and I train and prune it to keep it from sticking out too far. Definitely more up than out for me. She is not flexible, so a gentle fanning out of her canes is the best I am able to do. I wish I could bend her more to encourage laterals, but I’m realizing she isn’t made for that....See MoreWho is eating my rose foliage and how do I stop them?
Comments (2)The first thing I thought was leaf cutter bees too, based on the shape of some of the cut leaves. Have you looked under the leaves to look for caterpillars or their frass? Agree with Sheila that your leaves look fabulous :-D Do you ever see grasshoppers?...See MorePlease Id this pink fragrant climbing rose
Comments (19)@judijunebugarizonazn8 Thanks for the reply! You could be right. In the thread that dianela shared, some photos of ken are very thorny too. I guess it is hard to be certain especially I did not get to see the plant in person @Dirt, thanks again. I feel the color of pearly gates or climbing cinderella are somewhat off. They both have some apricot tune, while friends’ rose is a medium pink.....See Moresara_ann-z6bok
