I did some more searching for Pretty in Pink Eden and I am super excited about this rose now. Unfortunately I cant find anything on Pincushion.

Lala, Welcome! I have never grown those roses either, but just wanted to welcome you here. Years ago I lived in Pocatello ID, before I was really into roses, although I had a couple Austins I brought there from Oregon and then promptly neglected. Instead, I spent all my time skiing, hiking, backpacking and river rafting. I have so many fond memories of being in the incredible mountains there.

Welcome, Robin. We're neighbors. I'm in NE Washington, not far from the state line, and there are a few here who live in Idaho.

You just introduced me to Pincushion. You can find it here: https://www.helpmefind.com/gardening/l.php?l=2.72586&tab=1 But, there isn't much information. I can see it as a potted rose as well as in the ground.

I wish you luck with the gorgeous Pretty in Pink. All 3 of mine turned out to be the more common Eden. I love Eden, so no big deal, but I would love to try PiPE again. There are some very nice videos on You Tube featuring Pretty in Pink Eden.

Thanks for the welcome. I enjoy Idaho but a home body. I really enjoy working in the garden, as obviously you all do as well. The Mountains are pretty though. I think I will order a few pincushion and hope for the best. Most likely PIPE as well!

Hi robin !! Welcome to our friendly group of rose a Holics!!

I had pretty in pink eden , when I lived in Tennessee. It bloomed way more than

my regular eden . It had no fragrance I can remember. It grew well for me ! The trouble I had with it was the color could never be captured correctly by me in photos and so I don’tHave many pics .

It was moderately thorny, nothing vicious!!!

Welcome Robin, it is wonderful to have new people post. I also don’t grow either of those two roses, but they are beautiful. Rockridge rose you pretty in pink Eden looks perfect. Thanks for sharing. Robin looking forward to an update on how those two end up performing for you =).

Welcome Robin. I too have been asking questions to my neighbouring Rosarian, Jasmin Sultry. We both live in the same State. I am so happy and looking forward to getting Eden but i cant decided on the colours...hmm ?

Does Eden repeat well for you guys? My Eden didn't give me one bloom this fall. It's her first year in my garden though. Hopefully she'll improve next year.

Eden notoriously takes a long time to establish herself and start blooming well. At least, that's been true for a lot of us. I hope this doesn't discourage you, but 2 of mine took 4 years, but that 4th year was great with a huge first flush, then almost constant bloom thereafter. Another one only took 3 years and it bloomed non stop all summer. Two other 4 yr olds have never bloomed. If you're in zone 6 or above, you will have blooms sooner and more of them than I get here. She's worth waiting on, in my opinion.
