Cafe induction range and dishwasher questions?
Comments (0)Hello. Currently considering a Cafe Induction range, CHS900P2MS1, and dishwasher, CDT805P2NS1. Have questions for the Cafe appliance owner who purchased an induction range and or dishwasher since the brand has been acquired by Haier from GE. Even better if you have purchased one of the above models. Thank you in advance. Where is the induction range and dishwasher made? How satisfied are you with the induction range and or dishwasher? Would you buy it again? How reliable has the induction range and or dishwasher been for you?...See MoreFrigidaire or GE SS range next to Bosch dishwasher?
Comments (3)Thank you, @wdccruise and @mdln, for your replies! We've kind of fallen in love with the Bosch for its third rack for silverware. Esp. with an 18" dishwasher, it's nice not to have a silverware basket taking up space in the bottom rack. Also, mom doesn't believe you should cover up appliances with cabinet panels - if there's a dishwasher, she wants visitors to know it's there! lol Anyway, I finally got to visit a local appliance store yesterday and got a look at the 24" version of that dishwasher and it looks like the stainless steel finish will be close enough to the other appliances so we're going to go with it. Thank you for your help!...See MoreMid range dishwasher help. Concerned about Bosch drying!
Comments (11)When I moved into my husbands home after we got married, he thought I was crazy when I told him theres something wrong with his newer Bosch dishwasher because it wouldn't dry plastics. He said thats how all dishwashers work, but I insisted that my old one dried just fine. Getting fed up with the plastics always being wet, I did some research and found out you have to use JetDry with the Bosch (which I personally think is absurd they would make a dishwasher that requires it to work effectively and a scam to get you to spend more money). I was also able to change some of the default settings to make it dry better. With the setting change and always having to use jetdry, it dries much better, but I also got rid of most of our plastics. We have twin 1yo girls now and have been using Silicone dishes for them which works well. But if we move to more plastics, I might just go crazy and have to get a new dishwasher....See MoreInduction range: GE Cafe or Bosch Benchmark
Comments (14)We absolutely love our Bosch induction range purchase 2017. I did a review on it after purchase here and there is a long thread of comments from that post: https://www.houzz.com/discussions/4725146/brief-review-of-newest-bosch-induction-range-hiip055u#n=116 we don’t have issues with the electronic control layout; like anything you get the hang of it. It is nice to have no knobs to clean. We are particularly in love with the flex zone which was hard to find on a range top in 2017. The control board did die at one year and was replaced without problem under warranty. We have had no electrical problems or any problems whatsoever with the machine since. The advice to get the longest warranty available is a very good one as all appliances these days have so many electronic parts....See MoreCheryl Hannebauer
