Get your THYROID checked!
Comments (18)And, worriedone, what if; and this is thekey here, the what ifs. Like what if you where wrong? What if you had cancer? And you just took iodine? Do you realize you could/would be dead from cancer. Years ago, 20 to be exact, a gentleman my husband worked with, had similar symptoms as you. refused medical treatment, swallowed iodine. goiters shrunk to not be visible any more for 2 years. He then got a cold, that developed into pneumoniaand was found to have 3 masses in his lungs, small tumors in 2 lymph nodes and the goiter had been cancer all along. Had he listened to his doctors, he would not have died 6 weeks after being diagnosed with metastatic thyroid cancer. You may be lucky ignoring your doctors advise, the best advise you could have been given and you could be nothing more than a walking, ticking time bomb that will regret the day you ignored your doctors advise. Time will tell you. You complaint about doctors advise is absurd. No doctor is going to tell you to ignore the potential of cancer without being sure it isn't and instead swallow some iodine. I can just see it now. If you had gotten that advise and it was wrong; would you be on this forum telling all of us about the doctor who missed your cancer?...See MoreWhat is your skin care routine?
Comments (46)terriks, There are lots of great recipes at the joe cross website. These are some of my favorites: Carrot Apple Lemon Juice This recipe makes 2 servings. Ingredients: 4 apples 4 carrots 2 lemons, peeled Directions: Rinse all ingredients and cut to size for your juicer. Add ingredients to juicer. Enjoy! A lot of times I sub a grapefruit for one of the apples Green Lemonade Juice Ingredients: 6-8 kale leaves (Australian Tuscan Cabbage) 3 handfuls spinach 1 green apple 1 cucumber 2 celery stalks 1 lemon Directions: Rinse all ingredients and cut to size for your juicer. Add ingredients to juicer. Enjoy! Green Citrus Juice This recipe makes 2 servings. Ingredients: 2 green apples 2 oranges, peeled 6 big handfuls of leafy greens (kale, chard, spinach, romaine, etc.) Directions: Rinse all ingredients and cut to size for your juicer. Add ingredients to juicer. Enjoy! I usually sub out an orange for a grapefruit in that too. Mostly those make about 32oz. Gazpacho Juice 4 plum tomatoes ( I usually use 2 tomatoes and 2 carrots) 1 large cucumber 2 celery stalks 1 red bell pepper 1 small red onion 2 cups parsley (leaves and stems, roughly chopped) 1 lime the site below is also great. you can plug in your ingredients and it will give you recipes. I started out buying a juice a couple times a week from a juice cafe, then every day, then I got a juicer. trying it out when someone else makes it is easier and cheaper at first. :) there are also a lot of juicers out there and you have to figure out your goals before you buy one. We have two. a centrifugal and a masticating. one is MUCH easier and faster to use than the other. once you start making them every day you start subbing and come up with your own recipes. I try to use cabbage, kale, bock choy, broccoli, romaine, spinach, swiss chard, etc in the green lemonade. I just use two each day and switch it up. I usually have two 32 oz of the green lemonade a day. Here is a link that might be useful: recipe site...See MoreWould you accept a bubble in your cabinet skin?
Comments (37)I think I have made the photo bucket account public. Sorry, I'm really computer illiterate! @ardcp, that is exactly what they have done to one of my ends that had a bubbling skin! Thank you for your post, it served to reinforce my thought that the reduced overhang would be no big deal. I stopped at the house today and all of the trim and cabinets had been disassembled and the skin removed without incident. What was characterized as an impossibility yesterday was quite doable today! We are all awaiting the arrival of the Decora rep to pass judgement on the reveals of doors and drawers. I did pass on the suggestion of the hypodermic needle to the contractor but as we were batting around options, the guy on site had gone ahead and done his thing. While this kitchen is not going to be the "kitchen of my dreams," I do have hope that the issues will ultimately be resolved and it will be a satisfactory kitchen! Thank you so much for all your input, it has REALLY helped!...See MoreSoooo, does this get under your skin?
Comments (32)If they just get into their car and sit with the engine off it doesn't bother me. Maybe they are waiting for someone still in the store or just resting. None of my business and I simply move on. But when they sit with the engine on, backup lights on and/or with their foot on the brake my term for them is one that cannot be typed here according to forum rules. I think it is just as rude to sit just to annoy. Parking lots get pretty full. Putting a blinker on is a courtesy to those behind you letting them know you are waiting for a spot. It's what most good drivers expect. With the kind of logic that say people must keep moving on until they happen to see an empty spot or maybe slam on the brakes as someone pulls out, then there would be no lines to wait for an open spot in a grocery checkout. The one sitting there is hurting all behind the person waiting, not just the vehicle waiting to enter. It causes a completely unnecessary backup out of spite. Just like those who don't understand zipper merging and decide to punish the person using the open lane until the end or the self righteous road boulders who won't move over to the right for faster traffic. Too many people today drive with their feelings instead of common sense....See More- 6 years ago
