Is Cash Cab still on? What station? I liked it but have not seen it for years. I’d make friends with James Holzhauer and call him. If not him, I have a friend who is a lawyer and pretty smart.

I would call my favorite customer. A very smart guy who also remembers all kinds of useless facts. He knows (memorized) the mascot for EVERY high school football team in the USA. I have no idea why he finds that interesting.

If the question is related to medical, I'd call my daughter. She's one of the smartest medical people I know.

No need to make a phone call. He is sitting there right beside me. My DH, who didn't complete high school, but did get his GED, is so up on current events, people, history etc. He never ceases to amaze me with the correct answers on game shows. He reads a lot and retains everything.

There was a new (to me) season on one of the cable stations not too long ago. It included celebrities riding along. The show was on for only a short time. I couldn't see it on the schedule anymore. Then just the other day I saw it on the cable schedule and it indicated the episode was new, but I don't know if it was as I didn't tune in. Always enjoyed it. In fact, I enjoyed the original version without the celebrities more.

Cash cab is now on the Bravo network.

This might make everyone LOL or feel sorry for me for not having wider horizons, but I am the smartest person I know for this sort of trivia. Not smart enough to win a contest, and I'm challenged when it comes to pop culture, entertainment and sports.

DH is very good at technical and math stuff. For trivial pursuit type of questions I would have to say my son and nephew are the best combo. Son knows all kinds of social stuff nephew knows all sorts of political things. I have a handle on medical and sciency stuff. Now if I could find someone who did all of that one person I mean that would be wonderful.

My daughter is the smartest person I ever knew. Together we are unbeatable at any game or game show.

People tell me I have kind of an odd memory for retaining little bits of quirky information, but I think its more to do with experiences than studied facts. My sister is brilliant with anything to do with arts or music. My brother is an engineer with loads of facts mentally stored. My brother in law an avid history buff and sports fan. So I think what I'm saying is who I would call would depend on the question.

Like Morz8, it would depend on the subject matter of the question, as different folks have different skillsets/knowledge.

A while back I read an article that said the folks who were the "phone friends" of contestants on Who Wants to be a Millionaire are allowed to use the Internet to find the answer when a contestant calls them -- with the only restriction being that they cannot exceed the time limit allotted to the "phone a friend" call.

100% agree! I would call the fastest at googling for information and knows how to search well.

If it was a question about sports I would be done. I have never watched a football or basketball game in my life.

I am the person to call. Not that I am smarter than anyone else,not by a long shot. But I do have a large amount of useless trivia facts and I have NO idea where I picked them up. When me and SO watch cash cab or jeopardy I know a lot of the answers. (More cash cab than jeopardy) Just random facts. Its weird how many of them I know the answers to. Now, family feud I suck at. I can never come up with a good answer.
