If you're in a hot climate then I wouldn't go too dark. Looks like there are brown tones in your roof so you could go with a light taupe and if you wanted to add some more interest a slightly darker color on the band around the house (the one above the windows). To me the fence hides the house. If you didn't remove it maybe doing something a bit lower or less solid would help.

My thought is to keep the house light and bright. A color scheme similar to one of these:

Also, is the fence placement for security reasons? If not, I would move the fence back towards the side of the house. This will better showcase and increase your curb appeal.

Hi everyone THANK YOU so much so far.
The roof is getting replaced in total, insurance did a terrible job of fixing. So likely we will be going with a pale grey steel (hopefully wider finish) roof.

I love the horizontal fence at the front. Would have never thought of that.

I love the idea of opening up the property with the paint and the contrast.

We will also be opening up he interior but after we finish these more critical works.

I can’t thank you all enough.

Oh and sorry having the fence right to the edge is so our growing kids and dogs have somewhere to play. We are on a really busy suburban corner where the cards speed through.

Playing around with some options. We’re probably thinking light grey with a light grey roof, white trim. Just given the heat here (33 and we’re not even at summer yet).
