Shutters are too small for the windows and I think they don’t add much. My suggestion is the paint the house all bright white…B.M.Super White. Leave the brick as is and paint the door B.M. Somerville Red. I woud most definitely power wash the roof (carefully).

Looks like you have it thought out. I would suggest picking your roof color before you pick your paint color. Paint color is much easier to change over the years. Personally, I would pick a very neutral shade such as grey or black (like you suggested). This way you have many other color options for the color of your home as time goes on. You can find a beige/grey to soften the red in your brick. Versus a cooler grey (Wow that looks really blue next to the top one- but when by themselves, they both look more grey) It will be nice to see how your roof impacts the look of your home over the course of the year and throughout the different seasons. I am not sure where you are located but a north facing home, in the northern US, a grey will take on more of those blue tones. Yes, I would make those attic vents blend in. I am not sure that I helped any. Good Luck!

I've been looking at high end roofing tile websites and one of them has a color expert that made recommendations for house paint colors with their orange/brown roof tiles. Thank you Beth!, I like the dark colors with the white trim and have made a list of Hale Navy, Polo Blue, Witching Hour, and Sherwin Williams Deep Ocean and Black Fox. The white is nice and I tried a sample of Pure White on the siding but it seemed to flatten the house and also will hide all of the trim. I was thinking dark on the outside and light on the inside of the home. Another reason dark might be nice is that it is in an area with tons of red clay! I also like a deep red with white trim but I think the deep blues and charcoal blues are richer and more current what do you think? Thank you so much for your opinions, you have great photos to share!
