A new Memory idea - a Christmas ornament
Comments (6)Sharon, I think tie fabric tends to be slippery. :) When I first looked at the photo I thought it was more 3D - points extending in all planes. Now it looks like all the points are in one plane. I think sewing like you said wouldn't be too hard, and instead of piping I think I would do hand embroidery around the edge - stem stitch or couching. Comments (14)Bon, that reminds me of one time when we were on a cruise. At the disembarkation talk the cruise director said "If you need wheelchair assistance contact guest relations and we'll make arrangements to push you off the ship in the morning." People in the audience started to snicker and you could see her rewinding what she'd just said, and the horrified look on her face was priceless! She said, "Oh, my gosh, I can't believe I said that!" Comments (11)First, no shutters. Those are not windows that call for them . You have a very pretty house that could just use some new landscaping. Now, I am no expert and not a pro, but I would suggest getting rid of the shrub by the door and the hedge to the left as a start. Maybe another picture or two from straight in front, closer up and from the street or sidewalk. I am surprised you haven't received more responses. It really is a lovely house and the property looks wonderfulas well. For Christmas, lights along the rooflines (yes, suggested that elsewhere, too) and maybe a large wreath on that window above the door which would probably require a pro (lots of landscaping businesses are now doing Christmas lights in our area)....See MoreHere's my new sofa! Comments (8)Sal, that's one of those cheapie fleece blankets, not too thin though. I cannot sleep without one on my bed. Mine's pink. :) That's what rubs agains me when I sleep since I don't like top sheets, and I add a lightweight quilt on top. We don't let the dogs wear collars since there's a lot of barbed wire out here. If they escape they crawl under ther lowest wire and could get caught. They don't escape often but all the farmers out here know it's our dogs. Lyban, if they faced the front of the room then their legs and base will be hidden. I've seen decor both ways. What I like about it facing the back of the room which leads to the kitchen and the rest of the house, is when I walk into the room I love looking at whatever decor is on the table, especially family pics....See MoreUser
