Two shots, long wait at doctors office.
Comments (18)Glenda, I am so sorry, but glad the injection worked for you. I have been in so much pain for over a month...first, I made the mistake of going to a chiropractor for several treatments, then a week ago I went to a pain management doctor for an injection...praying for relief, but I did not work. Oh maybe for about a day, I felt some better...than to my PCP and he has ordered a MRI for next Monday..then I suspect I till be going to a neurosurgeon. Does your pain stay in your lumbar area or does it go out into your butt and thigh? I happen to have turned over in the night and ended up on that hip...leg and foot was numb and the hip throbbing. Man what pain! I am really struggling today..can not sit, walk, or lay.....and on top of that the pain meds have made me constipated, thus hemorrhoids. I am so much pain, I have not eaten all day. If surgery would make this better, bring on the knife! Please keep us posted and I hope you will have a wonderful cruise! Soak us sunshine and bring some back with you to share with the rest of us!...See MoreDoctor's office advice
Comments (4)Oh, doesn't it just make you mad? We have a weekly play group and two weeks ago went to a local children's museum. Great, except there were at least a handful of kids there who were coughing their lungs out, etc. etc. I can't believe the parents who let their kids go out with other kids, touching stuff, etc. when they're obviously sick. We're just getting over a cold - I'm tired of being sick! At the doctor's office, I've noticed how disgusting the toys look. I wish they would throw them out. We don't really have a "sick" or "well" area in our office but when David was a newborn they had me sit in an office while we waited, which was nice. I'll remember next time not to let him touch anything!...See MoreWhen You go To Your Doctor?
Comments (31)Greetings, everyone, Were I to have kept my meds in a Zip-loc bag, up until about last Christmas, I'd have had to put a big Sharpie label, "Ed's current drugs" on it, to have known which bag it was ... 'cause it'd have been empty for about the last 30 years, at least, so indistinguishable from all of the other empties. My doc prescribed antibiotics (I have "swell legs"! - but not as photogenic as when I was younger), then drug for water reduction, in recent months. You'd think that the darn body could have waited till my 80th birthday to have pulled the "need-a-drug" trick on me! Oh, well - you can't win 'em all, I guess! I'm truly thankful to have enjoyed the level of good health which has been my lot, up until now! ole joyful P.S. They do ask about what meds that I may have been taking - but I'm pretty sure that they haven't asked me to bring them in (but don't remember, exactly, as it wasn't an issue of concern). o j...See MoreBack from the doctor's office and the baby is a .......belly pic
Comments (27)That's wonderful Stacie! Gosh, I always wanted a little boy. After three girls I'm not sure I'd know what to do if I had one! Things will be busy at your place for sure. :) Congratulations! I can't wait to see your picture! Danielle...See Moresushipup1
