Do you worry about blue light from your screens?

I'm reorganizing my home office and trying to find the optimal space for my (older) iMac. The screen is so reflective, it's a mirror even when it's off. Anyway, in my search for anti-glare filters, I came across blue light reduction films and started worrying about blue light again. I have stopped screen time several hours before bedtime and noticed it helped with my insomnia. But what about the rest of the time? Blue light exposure is linked to macular degeneration. Are there any studies telling us how much exposure is 'safe'? Should I be investing in a blue-light reduction film for my screen or looking into a newer computer that offers built-in blue light reduction? Who else worries about this stuff and what have you done about it?
