Kissed in the Dark...Finally...
Comments (18)Debra, I do sort of work in name themes...daylilies are so common, it's nice to be able to do that ;-) I've got Kissing the Rain, Kissed in the Dark, Alicia Rose Kissed (she was sadly the one who took one for the proverbial team when part of a fence came down on 8 ft of big clumps in the weather last week...shoot, I forgot to check on her today too), and Kissing Bride... 3 is an official collection, right? Here's Kissed in the Dark today...there's something really cool going on in the throat of this one, haven't gotten a photo of it yet...it's a charcoal-ish ring just before you hit the green...yum. Cheers! ~Anika...See More'Fara Shimbo' - thorns and suckering
Comments (4)Fortunately, I read this and noticed Fara was on line elsewhere. I asked your question and her response was that she had lost hers last year in a flood, but her neighbor has one she says is "a humongous, thorny monster" but that it doesn't sucker vigorously there in Colorado. She said it "spreads slowly". Of course climate, amount of water and soil type can affect that. I hope it helps!...See MoreI GIVE UP! !!!!!!!
Comments (95)Bart .. I am known as RoseBlush1 on NGA. You can turn the emojis off just by going to your preferences. You are not the only one who doesn't like them. There are a lot of features you can turn on or off in your preferences. You can customize you home page, so that you are not stuck with the generic home page. For those of you who have not taken that step, please click the little bell at the top of the page to see if you have any messages. If you have any questions, there are many places you can ask them and get good responses, but if you are uncomfortable, just click on my user name and send me a t-mail. I will make the time to support your transition. Please understand, I am still not pushing anyone to make a change. It has to be something you want to experiment with by your own choice. Transitions are always awkward. No site is perfect. Oh, well. I think we can cope. Please start posting about things that do interest you. This will change the content on the RF. It's still up to you to make that happen. You all have my support and the support of others on the site. It's still your choice....See MoreShow your garden pictures - look inside Jinx
Comments (63)When we put in our pool at the beachhouse, I fell in love with a pool literally surrounded by blue hydrangea, my fave. My LA was not enthusiastic, as he said that they don't always do well oceanfront, so I compromised with just a line of them along one part of the fence. They were a little sad at first, then filled out and seemed healthier, but this year they have finally come into their own and I'm delighted. Here they are: And these are around the hot tub....See MoreElmer J Fudd
