Need help selecting a bamboo species
Comments (2)If you have running bamboo in a container, you will want some way to control it. I would recommend a two-tier system, with one 1-foot-deep box sitting on top of the dirt in a second, larger box. Clean out the dirt in the bottom trench and fill with large pine bark chips or even sand. A couple of times each year, check for errant rhizomes. This way, errant rhizomes will go deeper than the top planter and you can catch them before they start push the edges of your larger planter....See MoreNeed help women marathon runners!
Comments (2)Are you on the Pill right now? If so, there shouldn't be any problem just taking the pills contiuously (not taking the pink ones, or the sugar pills) If you take them continuously, you will "skip" your period that month. I wouldn't recommend doing that more then one month at a time. If you aren't on the Pill right now, I am not sure how it would work. It might take you some time to get adjusted to it, and I'm not sure how regular your periods are to start with? But like Kay said, checking with your doctor is always best! I saw that you live in Hawaii. Are you running the Honolulu Marathon? My mom ran that one back in 1980! Good Luck!!...See Moreneed help selecting a bed/headboard
Comments (7)I love the first one for a little girl and it will look great without a footboard just with that pretty headboard by itself. It will look even prettier if you have an eyelet bedskirt or some kind of bedskirt that is white. I have a bed with an Rustic Ivory Iron Headboard with no footboard due to the size of my bedroom and I am very happy I chose no footboard to make my room appear smaller with less walking room. If I had a big bedroom, I would love a footboard. I also had a Stanley Fiasco and despite missing the styling of the Cottage Revival Furniture (I loved the bun feet and beadboard sides that were really veneered wood over particle board but pretty.... I do not miss the mismatched furniture, peeling paint, spintered and chipped runner, holes in back of bureaus, and many other quality control issues) , I love the fact that my solid Maple Wood Durham Furniture (Royal Cottage in Sand White) came to me in such wonderful shape and MATCHING and did not waste 2 weeks of my time due to the poor quality control from Stanley and the Kearny, NJ store actually allowing furniture that was so mismatched in color with so much damage to be delivered to my home. I sure wish I found my new retail store in Flemington, NJ first since I am sure (based on what they told me and seeing how wonderful they were with my Durham Delivery) they would have never let furniture with that quality enter my home based on what they have told me when I showed them the pictures of the Stanley Furniture. Also The Durham furniture was ready in 6 weeks rather than 11 weeks like the Stanley Furniture....See MoreNeed help with a runner dilemma!
Comments (9)I think if I wanted a runner there and you love what you have, I'd just have it run in the part of the hallway coming up from the stairs. The place where you have the runner in the background in that latest picture, looks like it's part of a room and not part of the hallway? That last runner you posted is very nice and looks like it would coordinate well, too, if you really think you need something longer than your current one....See Moreilikefriday
