Do you have any pictures you could posts? From your description I'd add as many live plants as possible, and some chunky candles - maybe in burgundy to pick up the color from your shower curtain. What color are your towels? Sounds like burgundy might be nice for those too. Maybe a new mirror over the sink (don't know what you have there now) - lots of inexpensive styles available. Do you have a spot to add a swing arm or acordian makeup mirror (mine is regular mirror on one side, magnifies on the other) - very practical and looks nice too. Good luck!

You have a nice, neutral blank slate to work with. No one can suggest colors in a vacuum - not knowing what you prefer or what is being used in the rest of your home. Maybe look through pics of similar bathrooms and find some inspiration there? If it were my room, I'd find a colorful runner for in front of the vanity, some art for the walls and hang some towels and bars (if you don't already have towel bars installed somewhere). The logical place would be on the wall to the left of the sink so you could have art on the wall to the right? Maybe an orchid in a pot on the counter, or another kind of plant if you have enough light - a soap dispenser or soap dish. Have fun!

Lots of potential for major charm. :) Depending on privacy needs, some window treatment ideas: Cafe curtains … Cafe shutters … Full shutters … Roman shades … Bamboo shades: Or a simple (but very charming!) curtain … For walls — are you asking about paint or wallpaper? Or wanting to leave the color as is? I could see wainscoting with paint or wallpaper looking great in this style bath, but not sure if you’re wanting that sort of change (or even like that look): For shelves — what do you think about a vintage style cabinet? For example, something like this apothecary cabinet from Ballard Designs: The above comes in white, too. Love the idea of a vintage or antique one: You could get very cute vintage style glass or ceramic knobs for a cabinet. For a rug — so many possibilities! It’s just based on preferences. What styles do you like? Do you want something with color(s) or stay neutral? My own preference is traditional and colorful: But something neutral would look fine, too, if that’s your preference.

@la_la Girl Thanks for responding. Many of the choices are either busy via matching floor and wall tile or smaller tile like 8-9 inch hexagon on the wall or floor (I'm personally not a hex fan). We're considering a lighter version of the current floor tile (the one on the left in this picture). But then I don't know if that'd make the bathroom a little too boring with the shower tile and if the undertone still works as well?
