cloudy spots refinished hardwood

Emerald Living

I recently had my floors redone.

  1. They used a glitsa polyurethane for a Swedish finish. There a tiny white specks all over the floor that have a cloud around them. Home is unoccupied. No furniture/rugs etc. in. I’m the only when who was in there since the job was finished. Socks only and windows weren’t open when I saw it the day after it was done. What are those spots and how do we fix them?

  2. There are also a couple spots that are rough that look like sawdust got trapped in there. Not sure how they fix it?

For these two problems I worry if there is a particle higher than the wood that walking on it would cause that elevated spot to wear quicker.

  1. Lastly, I can see swirls on the foyer landing that I don’t think are normal. Is that common to have sanding swirls after it is refinished?

The company I worked with is nice and collaborative. I don’t want to seem like a pain in the rear. On the other hand, I don’t think these concerns are things that would be expected when a floor is redone?

Thanks in advance!
