Let's Dance Tonight is a southern bred one that does very well here. However, the first flowers didn't want to open right. Today's flowers were the first to look good. This one is quite pod fertile too. (I think the picture is a little out of focus.)

Asheville Pink Lady is one that has taken its sweet time getting established.

I love the dark rich color of Burning the Midnight Oil.

Buzz Saw was lovely this morning.

Royal Extravaganza was playing host to a big green bug this morning.

I still don't know if Toothylicious likes our climate.

I probably posted this one before, but I went to get its pollen this morning and had to take another picture of it. It is Stellar Stitchery X (Empire of Dawn and Dusk X Ruby Lipstick). I like its color--palest pink to white, not on the yellow side. And I love the intensity of the eye. Its shape is more like that of Stellar Stitchery. It's already been marked to be moved to a select bed (it's a second year).

Here is a picture of this seedling's pollen parent--just for comparison sake. You have seen pictures of this one as well. Pardon the shadow. I was trying to keep my shadow out of it and I see I didn't succeed.

Asheville Pink Lady looks so much like its parent, Shores of Time. I see it's registered at 36 inches. Is it tall for you? Royal Extravaganza is gorgeous even with the bug! It's pretty hard to find in that big, green throat. I like your pink seedling with the red eye!

Some real lovelies on here. I like the colors on Let's Dance Tonight. And I agree Burning the Midnight Oil does have intense color. The Stellar Stitchery seedling is continuing to look good.

You know what Ann?? I like them all! I think they all have lots of potential. As Michele said, a year or more at least to see what they are going to be like. Could be that your no fav will be a dog and the now dog could be a winner. I have been disapointed soooo many times, thinking I had something really good and as it turn out, they sometimes are so different you wouldn't recognize them as the same dls. They all are quite lovely even the one with a bad bloom... Praise The Lord...We got rain tonight...Ellie

Thanks Nan for the information. I see that it's listed as a rebloomer, but I don't know if your gardening season is long enough to test that. Sometimes I think the rebloom designation is only for people in the deep south (if even there) because rebloom is spotty for zone 7. I look forward to more information on Geometric Wizard. Sherry - Heavenly Snow White is very white, but I like Lillian's Thin Ice better. Thanks for noticing the seedlings! Kate and Kay - Violet Sabrewing does have gorgeous coloration. I think it would perform better if it were not so shaded out by other daylilies. Scapes are OK, but not nearly the registered height, and I would like to see it have better bud count. I may move it the fall too the other side of the UF bed. Debra

Debra, I would say Asheville Pink Lady is only about 24 inches tall for us. It is in a shadier part of the garden so maybe that's the problem.

I like Asheville Pink Lady........Coincidentally my own "Buzz Saw" had its FFO today. It started out a nice yellow before the sun whitened it. I saw the edge on it and thought of you..........I like your seedling too. Pretty one........Maryl

The Stella Stitchery seedling looks as though it has a lot of promise in both color and form.

Love the seedling. Asheville PInk Lady has been a slow starter for me, in spite of its good location and lots of rain. Pretty flower though.

i too like Ashville P L. It really bugs me when cultivars are such slow starters. I have several like that which I really like, and a couple of them need splitting regularly or they bloom poorly. So I feel like I'm spending most years waiting for their few good ones.

Let’s Dance Tonight caught my eye today, I hope it continues to do well for you. Love your seedling every time I see it, I agree, love the eye color. I like Asheville Pink Lady like everyone else here, lovely. I’m waiting for my Buzz Saw to get started.
