Sometimes you have to timber
Comments (9)fledgeling that was a little over 2 years ago and a lot of back grown noise and distractions. I heard the words, blight and worms, witnessed the moths, I added two plus two, and came up with six. I have no education concerning trees and was trying to make the point that sometimes you have to timber when you really do not want to. I am sorry for the confusion. Comments (8)Thanks Theresa. I just fixed the photo links. Yes Eloise I guess what really matters might be the age. I've heard people having 96 or 104 years old cereus so it must take them long time to get to maturity, although some people get theirs to bloom in a couple years from cutting. My orchid plant, brought back from Florida around the same time, is also blooming the first time.(the plant behind is my 3rd Chinese Perfume plant starting a second flush this year) Brenda's cuttings after I potted them. they are doing good and some already had new leaves. My Cereus had been in my south facing bathroom for 5 years and last year I started bringing them outside in summer and fall. And this year I put them in the green house in the early spring and move outside in summer. But I don't know whether what I have done really made difference, or it is just the time issue....See Moretrumpet vine - encourage flowering

Comments (6)Worthy - I told our lumber guy to deliver our lumber Monday afternoon. He took it upon himself to have it delivered Friday afternoon. Said he wanted to make sure we had it when the framers showed up. If he'd have waited until Monday after like I told him, I could have rescheduled it Monday morning when I found out our framers flaked out . . .AGAIN. Don't think I didn't let the lumber yard rep know I was unhappy about his executive decision. imstillchloecat - Yes . . . that is a safe room in the center.
