Thursday's Flowers

It's really chilly here today. The sun is out but the wind is so strong you have to wear a jacket. Still we had some nice flowers in the garden.

Lava Flow finally opened a flower today.

Stella's Ruffled Fingers opened today. Bob just hates this flower. He's not really a fan of pink and this isn't pure pink anyway. It has that beige or yellow undertone. What he really hates is the name. I am impressed, though, by it. It has gone from a couple of fans to a nice clump in just one year. It's putting out nice scapes ready to bloom with a bunch just coming up. I can see it being in bloom for quite a while.

Here's Pretty Little Polly doing its polytepal thing. This little dip minis are blowing me away. They increase like weeds. I am going to be hybridizing with them this season and since dips usually have more seeds per pod, if I'm not careful, we will have too many seeds to start.

Here's I'm a Pirate looking more yellow today. I'm sorry--I should have taken off the dead flower behind it.

I'd better not press my luck. I'll put the rest in the comments.

Nancy
