Kathsgedn - the photo thing is really bizarre. Sometimes I can post from my laptop but not every day yet I can always post from my iPad. It is definitely annoying.

eld6161, that is in the Puerta del Sol in Madrid, during the Indignant protests there in 2011. I happened to be vacationing in Madrid during some of the protests. If I recall, the pink windows were in a big electronics store.

My antique French Repousse cross which, due to its being made with brass and the specific embossed imagery on it, has been dated to ”well before 1890” by an antiques historian who specializes in French antiques that I consulted. The use of red/crimson velvet indicates that it was made for someone high up in the French aristocracy or clergy. Anyhoo, I’ve had it framed on green silk to protect it more. The green silk is actually a bit less bright than it looks here. It hangs in our main hallway along with more of my collection of crosses.

I don't check these threads often but coincidentally I'm sitting waiting for a ferry from CT... ...on the way home from having a boat surveyed... ...and see it's boat day and so I've got a twofer!
