I know what you are going through because I am in this same situation now. I would add that I have to pick up a tub on top of what you have. Don't laugh, but I started with the towels . I got from Frontgate the colors that I wanted and I had them monogrammed . I have the bath mates too . I chose the glass tile that had both colors in it . I want my bathroom clean looking too, so I am going with honed Carrara marble on the floor . For the counter tops and the tub deck my GC suggested the cultured Calcutta marble, he is raving about it . He suggested using it in the shower too as a slab , so low maintenance for cleaning with no grout lines . I could use the glass tile in between two slabs to give an accent . I don't know if I helped you or not , but believe me I have your headache because after I chose the Moen faucets, I found out that some parts like the handheld shower head is plastic , and I hate that. Now I am in the quest for an all metal faucets for sinks , bathtub, and shower. Any suggestions ???

Sorry you have not gotten responses yet! I can at least share a little knowledge with you, but I'm not much of an authority. In my area, 2cm is the norm for granite and marble. If you use 2cm, the edge is usually laminated, so that you "see" a 4cm edge. I think that with 3 cm, there is no lamination, so the edge is 3cm, too. If by quartz you mean materials like corian, zodiac, Hi-Mags, etc, then I dont think even talking about them as "slabs" makes sense, since they are man made and for come brands, you can pick the thickness.

Very nice! We almost bought a quartz sink top from Lowes but my hubby cheaped out since it's in our basement bathroom that no one uses. I wouldn't hesitate to use what you found though!

@Jennifer Hogan @Patricia Colwell @kandrewspa @cpartist Thank you all for chiming in! To answer a few questions and give some more collective context: 1. I whole heartedly agree with the dopamine hit when I am surrounded by my favorite colors. Not surprisingly, my favorite color is green, and it is the wall color in my bedroom (the room leading into the primary bathroom). The walls of my bedroom are BM Avon Green, which is quite dark and I love it every single time I go in there. While I would love to paint the bathroom walls green as well, I think it might be overkill, especially if it's a different tone altogether. I would love to do wallpaper but the choices are ENDLESS and I'm worried it will feel overwhelming to the eye. 2. I agree that Grand Millennial style is not very modern and I'm not describing this very well. If I had the time to research and money to spend, I'd go this route. The feel of my house is a bit more of a moody modern in style - I'm not sure what to call it. Maybe modern farmhouse? Our floors are natural white oak. Our kitchen cabinets are navy with black handles, to give some context (a bandaid fix for some 90's era yellowing oak cabinets from the prior owners). 3. I've read a ton of articles on mixing metals and i've looked at many pictures of mixing metals in bathrooms specifically, and I'm not sure I agree that you can't do it in a small space. The bathroom is gutted right now so I have no photos to show of what is actually in there. I did post photos of the vanity and fixtures in my original post.
