Yes to the warm biscuit with butter and honey and also spoon it over vanilla ice cream. Those are my favs for honey.

We keep a jar for DH. He puts it on his oatmeal and in his tea. I make bran muffins with honey in them. We also eat peanut butter and honey sandwiches when camping.

Break out the buttermilk biscuits! Or, PB, banana and honey sandwich sprinkled with roasted salted pepitas! An Italian ricotta cheesecake topped with drizzles of honey and sprinkled with toasted sliced almonds! Toasted flatbread or English muffins with honey and fresh sliced figs!! And the best of all if you're into baking with phyllo dough, Baklava!!

Straight off of the spoon, over yogurt topped with granola and spread on toast or biscuits. I have used it to sweeten tea, but it loses something and sometimes seems like a waste of honey.

I'm such a rarity, I don't care for honey straight! I cook with it though, it's great for a glazy sauce, so if it is a big jar I might split it with a friend. Or just keep it, and use it up slowly; it lasts for ages.

I'm not too original but love it on biscuits with butter. I've made Chinese sticky ribs a couple of times lately that have been a hit - there is honey in the glaze/sauce.

Our hunter is into bees and he brought us 3 different honeys of his. I've not ever paid much attention, but they are so different and so delish. One is not very sweet and very spicy...very special. I have a whole new appreciation for it now.

Drizzled over plain yogurt. In tea. And, yes, straight from the spoon. I absolutely love when raw honey begins to crystalize... I eat that plain.

I'm not a big fan of the taste of honey. I favor macadamia honey, because it is mild and nutty in flavor. But a tiny container of it will last me a long time, because I tend to only use it when making cinnamon honey butter.

If you have some smaller jars, you could split it and give a smaller jar to your friend and keep some for yourself.

I also don't care for honey, but if given to me, I would give it to the raccoons here. They would like it and I would be happy to do that for them.

Sadly for me, I like honey but it aggravates my allergies. I'd find a good home for it though.

I love honey; it adds much flavor to so many things. Even a tiny bit can impart a lot of flavor. From a tangy sweet balsamic honey dressing to camomile tea when sick, spicy bbq sauce for any kind of meat, dribbled over an English muffin, or to replace sugar in many kinds of desserts. Baklava. Yummy over cooked carrots with a bit of orange zest. Ooh, there are some delicious cocktails made with honey, too.

It's the first thing I reach for to sooth minor burns, cuts, and gardening injuries.

I love a good honey that's from a local farmer. I just bought a big jar of some that's really delicious and feel very lucky they still had some because they sell out quickly! I would love if someone gave me honey and be very appreciative! We use it mostly for tea when we get sick. But I like it on French toast and regular buttered toast.

Arkansas girl - my dad used to cook steaks for my dogs. He occasionally got them for free and never liked steak. I guess if one doesn't like something, feeding it to animals is better than letting it go to waste. :)

Grab some lemons, a cup of honey and some lavender essential oil for some lavender lemonade. Sweeten your iced tea with it as well.

Our DGS built a beehive last winter and has his first colony now, so I may need to refer to this for ideas. He just graduated from 8th Grade and lives in the city -- house with yard. He has already had to build 'an addition' for his thriving colony. Now he wants chickens! (Grandma thinks he'll soon be too interested in other 'hens' to tend the feathered kind.)

Dh and the kids love honey. It's usually gone before I remember I have any. They usually put it on fresh baked bread or in coffee.

I dislike the taste of honey. But its great,if messy, for a face mask. When I was younger and my skin was acne prone,I used to get raw,unfiltered honey from a stand on the side of the road. I mean UNFILTERED. Still had bee bits in it. I would smear it on, let it sit for 15 minutes, and wash off. Twice a day. It WAS messy, it melted a bit. But the antibacterial nature of honey used to help reduce the inflammation and cleared my skin to a degree. I might mix it in a face mask if it was given to me. Or I would regift to to my mom,who likes to use it for baking homemade bread and such. Either way, I love a gift! How thoughtful!

DH uses honey in his coffee. I like to lightly sweeten salad dressings, marinades etc with it. I also use it in my Asian Coleslaw.

Love it on my morning toast, muffin or whatever I have. I alternate between honey and raspberry jam!

Around here, honey generally goes in tea or on biscuits, BUT when it is local, raw honey I just eat it straight bit by bit. Local honey is so special IMO :^) Do you know what kind it is? We use to buy wildflower honey from a man who ran a hardware store, and got rose honey (best honey ever) from someone else whose son owned hives. I don't care much for sage honey. The flavor can really vary depending on what the bees were pollinating. That might have some bearing on how you use it.

I do like it with lemon, but I have a couple of jars of honey that I never seem to use, although guests often use it in tea or something like that.

My favorite uses for it include baklava and a poppy seed dressing for fruit salad. The salad dressing also has lemon juice in it, and it is especially good on grapefruit.

I really don't eat honey very often. The smell makes me gag, but: it's good in a cup of tea with honey. Or hot milk before bed with a bit of cinnamon. I buy a small bottle of it and it crystallizes before I can finish it. If someone were to gift me fresh honey, it would have to be a tiny jar.

Recipe she uses honey with is a salted honey vinegarette for spinach salad.

I love it in my tea, and my whole wheat bread has it in the recipe. But then I could just eat it with a spoon right out of the jar!

I love honey with sopapillas. Biscuits are good, too, but not as good as sopapillas. And honey buttered carrots.
