I just finished making a kale, potato and beyond sausage soup. It smells amazing and I can't wait to eat it!

I'm making roasted bone in with skin chicken breasts, mashed potatoes and gravy and a veg.

I didn't eat lunch, just now at 4pm. my stomach says I should look for something for supper. Can't decide whether to cook or fast-food it. I know I'll be more satisfied if I cook.

Along these lines, I want stick to a light, low fiber diet all this coming week and over the weekend, preparing for the colonoscopy prep that begins next Monday at 2pm. Clear liquid diet beginning Mon.morning.

Well, better go look and see what I have in the cupboard or freezer.

Mine is still in the crockpot. I made "Crockpot Pepper Steak" which will be served over rice. Smells good. It's a new recipe so we'll see.

marylmi, that sounds delicious to me right now. I like rice dishes.

I found some potato/cheddar cheese perogis in the freezer. Frying them as we speak in oil and butter. Low fiber? I don't know, don't care. :)

I love a chicken/rice combination, so am cooking rice in the oven (in chicken broth) with seasoned chicken pieces on top and chopped carrots/celery alongside. There will be enough leftovers for tomorrow and we will augment with sauteed sugar snap peas and grape tomatoes.

I will make a cheeseburger for my dinner. I saw Socks' thread about the onions so will make onion rings as a side but with ordinary onions not the big luscious types she had pictured.

I am making my Unstuffed Pepper recipe. Ground turkey, peppers, onion, rice tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and spices.

This recipe makes enough for leftovers for tomorrow.

Tomorrow it's supposed to snow or rain. High of 42f. So....I made a pot of potato soup, topping each bowl full w/ cheese.

I'm making a one pot dinner using a frypan and I'm doing chicken thighs, peppers, onion, orzo, spinach, can of diced tomatoes and some parmesan cheese. I'm looking forward to it. I'll probably do some roasted vegetables as well.

I made buns last weekend which turned out to be a larger than I wanted. So I had a hamburger on one for last night's dinner and turned the rest of the ground beef into sloppy joes. I'm having that tonite along with a glass of wine.

I was going to make a shrimp and orzo dish for dinner but instead I spent a lovely afternoon with my landlords visiting, having coffee, and enjoying the sunroom.

We are headed to a special birthday celebration for a friend so I don’t have to worry about dinner tonight. His wife is throwing the party and I know the food will be plentiful and good.

Pork chops and stuffed baked potatoes tonight, but two mentions of burgers is giving me a craving.

I had roasted a turkey breast last week, then made stock from the bones - turned that into a turkey vegetable soup seasoned with poultry seasoning, a little wasabi powder, and a cup or so of sauerkraut. Yeah I was in an experimental mood! and wanted spicy. It was good! I finished it off tonight.

Black beans salsa yogurt and potato chips on the side. It's the only way I eat potato chips. It tastes decadently delicious to me.

Chi, your soup sounds very much like the Zuppa Tuscana that I make.

I was at an international dinner at our clubhouse last night so had leftovers of the dish I brought. I made polenta with sausage and peppers. It was even better the second day.

I was going to make beef stroganoff but I spent the day working outside and then spent more than an hour helping an elderly neighbor track down her escapee dog before he fell afoul of the coyote herd. Too tired to cook so I had a chicken salad sandwich.
