Okay, I can't resist......although this was taken in 2005 (in my back yard). We've had many other deer since, but I thought this one deserved a revival. :-)

Vetaal, I meant to add that your picture could use a caption, as one of them appears to be speaking. What are they? Some kind of deer I don't recognize, I guess. Those racks are something to behold!

Alisande and Murraysmom - yes, they are elk. And they were checking out the girls (is it still "doe" for an elk too?); guess they busy comparing notes ...:o)
