Yeah, Michael really dropped the ball. Laura's collection was better than I was expecting--more variety with her look than I was led to believe. Uli's was fine I guess. Michael's? Some stuff kind of was pretty. I dunno. It was just a very disappointing experience. Don't know if I'll bother with next season. They're getting too close to jumping the shark. I hope Laura goes on to greater things or at least gets her stuff out there. Given an infinite amount of free time I'd like to go through the season and tally up the number of times people were criticized for making something that didn't look like "them" and the number of times they were criticized for making something that looked "predictable." But then I guess when you sign up for a "reality" show you're pretty much asking to be jerked around.

Yes, it's back and I'm ready. I'd forgotten that the cowboys are back this season. Should be an interesting season, and just the pickup that I needed for mid/late February!! Since I also watch the Biggest Loser, I now have a pretty full week of something to watch during prime-time. Shirley

I like Capt. Rayder, she's really come a long way from when she first started on the show. She's gone from snooty and competitive to funny and caring. I think she'll do well in the new show. I think what won me over was when she was getting stories from Brenda's mom over Christmas dinner, of when Brenda was younger. And then when she nailed that bad guy with her bean-bag shotgun, right between the eyes. The other detectives were so impressed and kept that beanbag. It was a hoot.

I know. I still watch reruns of The Closer. I loved her family, too. Most of the prime time shows on the regular channels are so terrible I just can't watch them. What passes for comedy, family entertainment is embarrassing and disgusting. I'm glad my kids are grown now. They won/\'t watch that either.
