10 Ways to Set the Table for an Amazing Easter
Go Over the Top or Sleek and Contemporary for Your Spring Dining Decorations
Is it just me, or is Easter a bit late this year? I feel like it's usually situated at the beginning of the month, right on time to celebrate the new season. This year I've had way too many chances to stock up on Peeps, jelly beans and chocolate eggs to do me any kind of good. On the brighter side, I've also had plenty of time to start thinking about setting the table for the holiday — or any other spring day, for that matter.
And it would seem I'm not alone. All over Houzz there are amazing spring tablescapes that would go over like gangbusters for the troops this holiday. If you could use a little inspiration, hop to it and read on...

What's more springtime appropriate than a pot of bright yellow daffodils? If you're crunched for time, this is all you really need to make the table feel festive.
Holy drama, Easter Bunny! With eggs both big and small hanging above and a shock of fuchsia decorating the table below, this is one table guests won't soon forget.
Tulips, bunnies, chicks, eggs — check, check, check and check. Place on large tray, cover bottom in moss, and you've got a centerpiece that hits on all the Easter necessities and is somewhat portable to boot, should the party move outside.
Use any leftover moss to line the bottom of an apothecary jar and decorate with a delicate nest or decorative eggs for another highly portable centerpiece. A vase of lovely lilacs provides height and color too.
A few flowering branches, mimicked in a wide runner, and a bowlful of assorted eggs makes for a transitional and cheerful table setting.

Find some thrift store bunnies like Houzz member NYCLQ did, then follow Brian Patrick Flynn's knickknack makeover instructions to give them a sleek new look.
My mom has a pair of silver salt and pepper shakers that look just like these pretty birds. They're always a happy addition to the table come springtime.
Go streamlined with a black, white and green color palette for a more contemporary table. And keep the decorative touches to a minimum — just a few candles and some moss are enough for this fresh and modern look.
Blooming branches provide height and drama, while sky blue accents and little nests at each place setting delight the eyes below.
And if the weather's nice, by all means, celebrate outside among the signs of spring. Colorful glasses — and what looks like the makings for a Campari spritzer — will help to get everyone in a festive mood.
Hoppy — err, Happy Easter, everybody!
