Comments (6)I think it depends on the color of the tile and the color of the wall. you also need to consider how the tile ends, you are going to want a finished edge. Tiles are easier to clean than dry wall. Notice the border behind the stove, and how the tile doesn't just stop it has a nice finished edge. Also, you don't really notice that the tile doesn't go all the way up. In this picture you can see that the tile doesn't go all the way up, but other things catch the eye like the upper and the window. Maybe consider putting shelves, a painting, or old signs.
