Suggestions Please on Wall Paint Color for White Kitchen

Hi,

I had my simple, white kitchen done in November or December of last year, except for the painting of the walls and the post (this will be painted in BM Simply White). I would be open to any suggestions on wall paint, and/or if you could take a look at the, esp. the latter ones where I've painted a splash of samples (L to R: Dunn Edwards Ash Gray, DE Drifting, BM Revere Pewter, BM Willow Creek). Thanks in advance.

I just used Stone Hearth in my house and the taupe color really makes my white cabinets and trim pop. I am so happy with it.

I just have to say how much I love your granite, cabinet, and floor choices. They are just absolutely lovely!
I think I understand that your BS will be the solid white subway tiles. You will have plenty of brightness from that beautiful BS. Although I am usually one who likes as much light and bright as possible, I see from some of your inspiration pics how rich that darker grey could be.
One consideration might me the color you will use in the adjoining room. My house has a similar opening between the two rooms, and I feel that I made a mistake in what I selected. There is not really enough contrast in tone betweeen my two rooms. I wish that I had gone a little deeper in tone in my kitchen, to give a slightly sharper contrast with the light color I have in the rest of the open space.
All of your samples will work, but I think the bold move, the deepest grey, might be the very best.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I will def. look into these colors. My last house had many 'traditional colors' mustards, yellows, reds, tan and I am looking to try something different this time around. I am inspired by Candice Olsen who meshes modern with traditional. She once did a white kitchen where on one wall she put a dark brown and silver metallic damask wallpaper. Thank you, lam and peppy doodle! I have to admit I was a little bit in shock when they first took down the tape because it looked so different, but now I'm loving the change! I'm glad I'm not regretting it. I keep sneaking back into the kitchen to look at it. Seems so much brighter and lighter than before, but still warm enough with the creamy white. I can't wait to see it with the doors back on and new hardware installed. Snookums - thanks for the tip. I'm trying to keep everyone out of the kitchen and the painters are very careful, but good to know. I'd hate to have a can of paint spill all over my slate floor!

I am in the process and just about decided . I was looking at warm offwhites and these were the contenders which might work for you SW Creamy SW Moderate White SW Natural Choice They are more subdued but definitely have a creamy tone to them. Another one was SW Creme. Editing to add- what a beautiful kitchen!

What is your granite? It looks a lot like mine and we painted the walls a deep gold/tan found in the granite....Ben Moore Bridgewater Tan at 75%. My cabs are light maple and we don't get much natural light. If you do get a lot of light, pick array from your granite..it will look really pretty and classic against the white cabinets. If not, pick up the tan in your granite for a warmer feel.

love Sherwin Williams, Khaki Shade #7533 looks great in every room if you want to see it here is a link to my remodel, Khaki shade is in all the rooms except the laundry/mudroom that is a shade lighter SW Urban Putty.

Will you be painting the wall in the adjoining room?

I looked through your pinned pictures and like the grays better than the taupes and darker gray (but not the darkest) better than the lighter grays.

But, if you're not painting the adjoining room, I might re-think those choices.

BM Willow Creek is beautiful and I think it will really compliment and pop the lovely kitchen!!! Good luck!

I vote for the Willow Creek. It seems there isn't THAT much paint surface with your BS going all the way up, so most everything is light and bright. I think the darker color will look awesome!
