That deep fryer picture scares the willies out of me because know what could happen. I had a mini-accident with the deep fryers at work years ago- the pot on the stove next to the fryer boiled over and quite a bit of water went into the fryer. It was very tense for the next while until I could get the fryer off and wait for things to settle down... It looks in the picture like they have a solid frying fat in the fryer, which means it's cold- whew!

I have a super funny April Fools' Day joke about elevators. It works on so many different levels.

Today I asked the Dollar General clerk to check if there was any 23lb.boxes of the kitty litter I buy back in the store room, as there was none on the shelf, and if so I wouldn't have to drive to another DG hoping they had it. I followed her back with my cart, and there it was - bottom shelf of a large skid under some other boxes. She sighed, but said "no problem" as she had to unload the top stuff to get to what I wanted. While checking out, and as she reached into my cart to the two boxes with the pricing gun, I said, "Wait a minute, I've changed my mind. I don't want this kitty litter". You should have seen her face. Then I said, "April Fool's!" She laughed and said, "There was no way you were leaving this store without it". lol
