Oh you guys!!!!!!! I love it all! The pillows - I wish I could pile every one of them on my sofa. As for the rugs, I like them all but I think I could marry that purple rug -- but first I'll have to convince my husband that our old rug simply will not do. And I can't do that until I find the thing. I think it is in the far hinterlands, at the back of the last stack of boxes still waiting to be unpacked. We bought some faux silk drapes a couple of weeks ago; they are very close in color to the wall. I'll try to get them hung this weekend to see how they do ... but not until I shop for pillows ;) Unfortunately our the Homegoods store that was just a half an hour away has closed. Any other likely store suggestions? And THANKS again!

We have Rainwashed in our master bedroom and it's a really pretty color. It does not seem too dark at all and our room faces east with lots of trees. It's also a small room; about 14' x 14'. We have Sea Salt in our hall bathroom and it's a really pretty pale green. There is no window in there so I can't comment as to what it would look like in a larger space. Perhaps more washed out than it appears in a small bathroom. With all that said, I'd go with Rainwashed. It's more blue/green than Sea Salt and sounds like it would complement your bedding and other decor better than Sea Salt.

Was thinking pattern on the rattan chair/ottoman and solid grey on the daybed with pops of pillows of the same colors as in the fabric...orange, teal, etc...different shapes and sizes on the daybed...or I could reverse the two...since the main thing your eye will see from the kitchen/living room is the daybed...

Your problem starts with selecting a blue gray white and a taupe. Look at the bottom row where I lightened Sea Salt. . . As taupe is lightened they go more beige Here are some of the selections you have tried and Pale Oak, which may work for you. You didn't specify what you didn't like about classic gray, but I am guessing it felt a bit flat. Etiquette is light enough that it really turns pink beige. Tough color to work with. Pale Oak is lighter than Sea Salt and grayer than Sea Salt, but is not so light that it goes beige. It has been known to go pink or purple if it is paired with yellows, but you only have blue and purple undertones, so I think you may be okay. An option that I didn't see anyone else suggest is sticking with Pure White. If it is glossy or satin on your trim and cabinets you could do an eggshell or flat on the walls and it will appear to be darker than the trim and cabinets. Another option is to pick either blue gray or taupe and change one of the two colors you have already selected.
