What color would you suggest? Something warmer would be better. Keep in mind the color of walls. They are a nice olive green. We were afraid if we used a darker color the room would be too dark. The ceiling is actually pickled so that the knots show. That sounds like Christopher, he is so funny. I love his style. I have been playing with some larger items on the mantle as you suggested. The round medallion can be hung higher on the wall. It does look much nicer. From Bedroom Yes, it will be fun decorating the house. Who decides how much white is too much, Barbara Griffith? Throughout the years, I think a few designers must have missed the memo that multiple shades of white were a fad. Vicente Wolf practically built a career on the look. Besides, with its dark furniture, I wouldn't consider this room an all-white room.
