Comments (22)Wow! Thank you all for responding. You gave me a lot to think about :) awm03- your vanity is beautiful!!! I love that! beverly- is that your bathroom? Gorgeous!! I also am not fond of the ogee edge, gsciencechick. Yours looks great! lol- I still don't know what to do! Looks like I need to price it all out. Another reason I like integrated sinks is bc honestly, that's one less thing to buy, or 2 in my case bc we have a duel vanity. So not only is sold surface more $$$$ but I would need to add on an extra ~$400 for undermount sinks....See MoreAnd so it begins.... master bath & laundry room remodel
Comments (106)For mgnohio in response to his/her houzz message request to see the tile we used in our bathroom. These are in progress pics taken last March. I still intend to get finished photos of my bathroom and laundry room posted but life has thrown us several curve balls lately and 2017 isn't starting out any better. My DH is recovering from multiple pulmonary embolisms so this month has been full of hospital stays, ER visits and doctor visits. He's recovering but it scared the crap out of both of us. The lesson here is that if you experience a sharp calf pain that lasts more than a few days and you don't know the cause of the pain, even if it doesn't present with the classic DVT symptoms (his didn't nor did he have any risk factors for developing DVT), insist on an ultrasound of the calf. If we had done that, we could have taken immediate steps to prevent this serious medical issue from becoming something far worse. We are so thankful that it didn't take his life....See MoreMASTER BATH RENO - Marble Love - HELP PICK VANITY!
Comments (5)There is a lot of movement on the walls and I think marble on vanity tops may be too much. I think your original idea of going with something simple and white is much better. Also, quartz is much easier for maintaining and caring for than marble. So, perhaps something like Blizzard quartz from Caesarstone https://homearttile.com/product/2141-blizzard/ . For vanity, I would go with something darker to create contrast with the top and walls, something like https://homearttile.com/product/eviva-aberdeen-72%e2%80%b3-transitional-espresso/ or https://homearttile.com/product/eviva-natalie-f-60%e2%80%b3-espresso/ or smaller https://homearttile.com/product/017-24-02/...See MoreDenise Simon
