Head's Up...New Sarah's Hse Series starts today 09/01
Comments (24)Her hair made me wonder if this series was actually older. It is new to me and I do enjoy watching her process and hearing her logic. I rarely agree with her reasoning when she justifies how much she spent, and could not live in most of her rooms, but her shows are still my number one on HGTV, by a long shot!! I would be very interested to watch what she would do with an average home on a REAL budget, a modest, "real life" budget. I REALLY REALLY want to see how she has lived with REAL children, toys, etc. Her pre-kid "kid friendly" decorating was so far from practical and reality. She doesn't have boys that I know of and her hubby doesn't seem the hunting/fishing/fix it guy type, so I do not think she has a clue the challenge it can be to live with a "garage-mahall" type man....See Moreever watch a series U love but dread watching?
Comments (4)Glenda, what "gets to you" about Fri. Night Lights? We watch it, well, Hubby watches it, and I'm usually on the laptop. We don't see anything uptight about it or anything. Now, Criminal Minds is one that I can mention. I love that show, but some of the episodes are so creepy, and I get sick thinking that some sicko could and would do these things....See MoreWatching on DVD: George Gently, Series 7
Comments (7)A bent cop is a bad cop. He takes bribes, warns criminals about police activity, etc. He closes his eyes to the crimes of other cops who do the same or use the badge to intimidate people. I think it's a British term, but I've seen it used locally in Chicago newspapers. I think we've watched at least some of every British TV drama series ever made! We also enjoyed a Canadian series "Intelligence" that was set in Vancouver. I think that had two seasons. This reminds me, it's time to make out our annual check to Friends of the Library. Only fair, considering all the free entertainment provided for our Teatime Matinees most afternoons! It helps them buy yet more things for the community to share....See MoreAny good "new" series programs to Watch?
Comments (45)I'm not much of a tv series watcher like I used to be. Our son tells us that we should watch The Americans, because it is very (scarily) realistic in how other hostile countries infiltrate here. Maybe. I do enjoy Big Bang Theory and am looking forward to it's spin-off, Young Sheldon. And, I'm anxiously awaiting the next season of Designated Survivor, which I love and do watch every week. Other than that, I don't watch much tv these days, except for the morning and evening news, and some HGTV (mainly Property Brothers and Fixer Upper). Right now, DH and I and rewatching the tv miniseries, John Adams, which we own. It is so incredibly well-done . . . just fantastic!...See MoreUser
