The Americans, Mad Men, Suits. We just started Barry and didn't give up on it after 15 minutes so that's promising. I'm very picky.

I've heard some others say that Marvelous Mrs Maisel is good. I'll have to give it a try.

Ozark, one of the best, sitting-on-the-edge of the couch series out there.

Mrs Maisel is fun if you can get past the anachronisms; the characters often speak phrases that weren't in use until this century. But the costumes and general feel of NYC in that period are really well captured. Her clothes are divine. :-)

So glad there will be a second season of Big Little Lies. Great acting.

Acorn TV is showing a series called Heart Guy, there are 3 seasons. Fun, serious and nice Australian scenery.

Can't wait for new Big Little Lies. And the book is a great read, too. The show was filmed in our old home town, but it isn't all rich and famous!

Ozark is fantastic, especially in 4K UHD.

I've been sick the past two weeks, so a lot of TV watching has occurred. Here's the most recent list.

Starz: Counterpart

Acorn: Hidden, Blood, Mayday, Agatha Raisin, Mystery Road, Loch Ness, Lords and Ladles (cooking in Irish estates). I started watching Keeping Faith, but hated it and the goofy music and couldn't finish.

MHz (Amazon Prime add-on): The Sandhamm Murders (brooding Swedish detective returns to his hometown, which has a lot of murders for such a small place)

Netflix: Roma (yawn), Final Table, Lords and Ladles (season 2), Nailed It Holiday Edition, Avengers: Infinity War. I just started Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat.

Lots of TCM.

I haven't watched Big Little Lies, but they have completed filming the second season and Meryl Streep co-stars.

Loved Barry and Killing Eve.

^considering I hate reality type tv shows, for me to watch those they're really good. I can't get over how some people live.

I could not get into Ozark. Some shows are just visually boring to me and that was one of them. Also did not like Sharp Objects with Amy Adams but a lot of people recommend it.

I really liked Anne with an E but maybe you've seen it since it's a Canadian production.

We are late to the game, but we just started watching the whole Walking Dead series on Netflix. I never thought I would like a show like this and I do hate the violence and gore, but there's something about the show that keeps us coming back to find out what happens. We're in season 7 at the moment.

Share, I know what you mean. I hate violence and explicit sex in a show, but really liked "The Sopranos" and loved, loved "Justified". Go figure. I guess it shows how well written the stories and characters are.

Saw Birdbox last night on Netflix and loved it. Saw Big Little Lies ...loved it too and look forward to the next one. But on the recommendation of some for Love Actually ...I hated it.

I just finished season 2 of Stranger Things. I really enjoyed it.

We just finished Season 2 of Mrs. Maisel. I love her parents! I liked it for all the things The New Yorker critic Emily Nussbaum *didn't* like. (I didn't want to see the story of Joan Rivers' life, however much more 'authentic' that would have been.) I disliked the only character she liked, Susie. I know Midge's character needs a foil, but Susie is relentlessly crude.

We still have some seasons of House unseen. Polished off The Americans -- weak and unbelievable final episode. Maybe the pair were meant to be 'whistling past the graveyard'?

The creator of Mad Men has The Romanoffs -- uneven (and unrelated) episodes. Some excellent. Some forced. All 'creative'.

Loved Carol! A visually gorgeous love story.

Spent New year Eve bingeing on The Crown. Four hours worth.

Hi all, I just wandered over from Bathrooms to see if anyone else was experiencing a username problem. No one was posting about it, so I started to read.

Liked Ozark until the last season. I could NOT stand the father character and the lack of concern for the kids at one point and stopped watching.

I have enjoyed Man in the High Tower on Amazon, and Travelers on Netflix. If you are into this kind of science-fictiony show, I loved Fringe, which is no longer offered there, but may be out there somewhere - it is a TV show from the early 2000's, I think. Now on Netflix, I loved Sense8, Continuum (which even ENDS, which few TV series get to do), and The 4400.

Watching Blue Planet II this morning.

We watched the first episode of Big Little Lies last night. It had some elements of Broadchurch so try that series if you haven't seen it yet.

Atypical on Netflix. I burned through season one and on to season two. A highly functional Autistic teenage boy navigating high school, dating etc.

On Netflix I loved Watership Down, Travellers, Lords and Ladles, Monty Don's Italian Gradens, and Derry girls!

Netflix : love Ozark, Breaking Bad, Frankie and Grace absolutely love them, Travelers, longmire too bad it ended.

Really liked Bird box last night!

Watership Down is my favorite book. I first read it 40 years ago. We watched the first episode of the new BBC/Netflix series and it stays true to the book. DH hasn't read it but he liked it too and he's not an animation fan.

Loved Big Little Lies, and the book was very good too. The first movie series was very close to the book, so I wonder how the second series will go.

I’m in the middle of part two of Mrs Maisel. I love it, although some haven’t enjoyed the second part as much as the first, I find it to be full of surprises and beautiful costuming. And I like Tony Shalhoub in anything he has played in so there is that.

Derry Girls on Netflix is hysterical. It's about an Irish family including high school age kids who live in Derry, Ireland, close to the Northern Ireland border. If you enjoy Irish wit full of sarcasm, this is for you! One season currently available (6 episodes, 30 minutes each).

Acorn/BritBox: Vera. I thought that it was boring when I watched one episode a few years ago. I picked it up again this weekend. It grows on you.

I watched the first season of Rectify over the weekend. I hope it picks up, it's pretty slow, but also holds my interest for the most part. The actor is very introverted and moody, which lends to the dark storyline. Yesterday's episode I was noodling around on other websites while listening, not much happening in the show.

I watched Wallander this weekend. I had seen a couple of episodes here and there on PBS but watched the entire series from start to finish. Had a very poignant ending....... Hope Kenneth Branagh makes another series - he is a very talented and handsome actor!

I'm not sure Rectify ever picks up. We bailed after the third episode. When a story is character-drive, I want the character to be interesting, not just sitting there silently while watching dust particles in the sunlight. Same with Sharp Objects. I didn't find Amy Adams' character worth my time.
