Is there any way to watch threads for new replies?
Comments (7)I'd like to at least see something under the "my profile" section that lists all threads you've posted in. I've found that even after checking the little box to get email updates when people comment after me in a thread, I don't get the emails. And searching for my user name doesn't return all the threads I've commented in....See MoreKitchenAid U series--any good?
Comments (18)No, it is not. I guess human perception starts to notice at 3-4 db. Thanks for the kudos! I really did my research. The new d/w was in installed this morning. We're going on vacation tomorrow, but I will post about the new one after we do some loads (maybe in 2 weeks or so). I sincerely pray and hope that it has to be better than this crappy LG. I missed a few things. The T and U are the only ones that have the 3rd rack. The U is only available at retailers who will agree to show the entire U line (stoves, etc). KA has lead me to believe the only difference between the T and U is that the U has a totally removeable bottom rack. I have never seen a U or a M. Like I said, the LG sucks and I will post about the T as soon as I have run a few loads. Interestingly enough, DH & I both noticed the LG was getting louder by the day! The service technician said he was going to send it to service versus back to the store since I could have gotten one with a bad motor. It had a new or possibly burning smell after over a dozen loads, plus the dishes weren't clean. He said they are taking back like 5 of these every week...and that people love the KAs....See MoreWatch Oprah on April 14 for some good news on pet overpopulation
Comments (2)Too bad they never mentioned all the importing of homeless dogs from other countries that many of the big name shelters are very much involved with. Now if we could stop that from happening we'd see an even bigger drop. And if anyone thinks that doesn't happen check out the link below which is just one of many out there to help enlighten people. Here is a link that might be useful: the importation of dogs...See MoreAny one watch the series 'Lost' ?
Comments (12)We love the show and have been watching since the beginning - it is now on the sixth season. The acting, stories and relationships are great, and we remind ourselves that we're not supposed to be able to figure out all of the mysteries -- that's the point! We are still unsure where the island is. There seems to be a place next to the underground hatch where a force, atomic parhaps, is causing a time warp of sorts. Sometimes the plane crash victims and other island dwellers are in the '50s, the '70s or the present. It's hard to keep track. Most of the characters have a past connection to one or more of the other characters. Some of these encounters happened shortly before they took the plane flight, some as long ago as childhood. Each week they show a repeat of last week's program with additional explanations at the bottom of the screen making plot connections. Then they show the new episode. We find it helpful to watch both. I will put a link below to the Wikipedia listing, which has lots of information:...See Morebpath
