When I go to the first line you gave, it takes me to a page that says 'Malwarebytes', with 'Home, About Us, Products, Contact Us on the top line. Then on the left is 'Destroying malw...(there isn't any more), and 'Testimonials'. Further down the page is a red 'cnet-Editors Choice Apr 2009'. Further down from that is 'Latest News'. There isn't any blue box to download. At the very bottom of the page is 'Malware NET', Adware.MyWebSearch 24.33%, Trojan Agent percent of total 6.15%, Security Hack Percent of total 5.59% Right now I have a split screen so I can tell you exactly what comes up when I click on the site. AVG has made my computer so slow- I have 448MB. I have read your instructions for when you have trouble downloading Malware- I went to: tools/internet options/security/trustedsites/sites and added www.malwarebytes.org/add. After I did that everytime I tried to go to a site a message popped up and said 'www.cnet' wants to be downloaded through this site- do you want to allow this?'. If I click 'yes' it just keeps popping up but nothing happens....See MoreBaking pies to freeze?
Comments (6)I would be happy to share it. It is very good and it freezes well. Buttermilk Pecan Pie 1/2 c. butter 2 c. sugar 2 t. vanilla 3 eggs 3 T. flour 1/4 t. salt 1 c. buttermilk 1/2 c. pecans (I don't measure, just cover the crust.) 1 unbaked pie crust Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cream butter & sugar. Add sugar, 1/2 c. at a time. Blend in vanilla and add eggs, one at a time. Combine flour and salt and add a small amount at a time. Add buttermilk. Sprinkle pecans on bottom of pie crust. Pour custard mix over pecans and bake for 1 1/2 hours. Best served at room temperature. I always fix this in a 10 inch pie pan because it is too much filling for a smaller pan. I also chop my pecans because I think the pie cuts better and I just like them chopped. I've never had anyone try this pie that didn't like it, or maybe they just didn't say so!...See MoreBest apple for pies
Comments (21)This is so funny because one year I made a pie with Empire apples (which I love) and in my mind it wasn't "mushy" enough so it was a failure, more or less. Then I took it to work and my co-workers raved about it, with one of them saying, "I like this because you can see and taste the individual bits of apples. That's the best kind of apple pie." So it's quite a matter of taste. I made applesauce last weekend for my mom with McIntosh, which gives you the standard type of applesauce like you get in the store bought jars. She loved it, I hated it. I like mine chunky and thick, with individual pieces of apple still left, so I use golden delicious or Empire for mine. I had never heard of Cortland or Empire apples until I had moved out east, but then out east you hardly ever see Jonathans, although now they have Jonagolds, which I guess are a cross? Now I am seeing both Cortlands and Empire in Michigan. Nowdays I have to limit my apple consumption to Gala and Fuji and Pink Lady, mostly. I cheat though, for pies and the like. Plus I really love Empire apples. They are the sassy offspring of red delicious I think. That apple aint what it used to be, although it is BF's favorite still....See MoreHow to wrap pies and pizzas for freezing
Comments (13)I don't like those twist ties. Sometimes, we don't get them tight enough. Sometimes, they are laying all over the countertops, sometimes, I can't find a single one when it's needed. I love these clips! They've got a magnet on the back so I stick extras on the side of the refrigerator within easy reach. They hold bags tight with no slippage & are easy to use even with arthritis. We use the different colors for different products so they also eliminate the need for some labeling of regular standard stuff like oatmeal muffins w/apples versus oatmeal muffins w/walnuts. I also use the KA bakery bags & these clips hold them much tighter than I could ever accomplish with those wire twist ties things. /tricia Here is a link that might be useful: Clippy Things...See More- 7 years ago
