Pregnancy and toxic fumes in house!

My contractor used a solvent based lacquer to seal our concrete floors. We didn’t know they were using such a toxic product and they gave us no warning that we would not be able to enter the house at all, we can’t even sleep there tonight. It’s impossible to be inside of for even a second. The fumes are intensely noxious.

I can’t imagine ANYONE being able to enter the house. We had to find a friend to sleep at their house tonight, with two dogs in tow. And I’m pregnant which amplifies the problem. I don’t know how long these fumes will last and if I should be in the house at all even if the smell dissipates.

anyone with experience in how long it takes for a benzene based lacquer to off-gas? Poison control is telling me could be days to weeks!?
