Comments (5)Thank you so much! I was able to find it online. Epressler, do you know where you purchased and for how much? I'm finding it for $746 without the sink at AJ Madison, hoping to find it cheaper....See MoreHelp with wall mount versus counter mount kitchen faucet
Comments (3)The valve is right behind the joystick (single-lever handle). The cartridge is there too, inside the valve body, and it's removable and replaceable once you unscrew the escutcheon (round plate) that the joystick comes out of. Not a big deal. Wall mounts are what they are. It wouldn't worry me. Are you working with copper plumbing? Pex plumbing? CPVC plumbing? Some other kind? They are all good. Use good materials. When in doubt, use the better of two choices. Do a good job. That's all. Sleep tight. I opened the PDF on the Kohler site. The escutcheon is 2-5/8" (6.7 cm) diameter, and it's only 2â³ (5.1 cm) diameter for the valve with single-lever handle. Personally I'd like a One-Inch (1" or less than 26mm) cartridge for my next wall mount project. If anyone knows of one, holler back please....See MoreHELP!: Can Location - Garden Web versus Electrician?!
Comments (94)Rantootoo, Up until a year ago, these slim led fixtures really had harsh lighting. About a year ago, the CRI went up to 90 from 80 and thy started offering 3000k units instead of 3500. This was a game changer and you are seeing more and more fixtures in the $50 price point. I like the gimbal like fixtures too because you can adjust them. As the technology gets better, the pricing comes down on the fixtures. The only reason I would install recessed fixtures now is if I were using tunable LED lighting where you can pick your particular lighting color choice for your home. Even the tunable fixtures, have surface mount fixtures. I think recessed lights may be a thing of the past shortly. You can always sell the cans on eBay or if you bought online many will take returns on unopened fixtures. Good luck!...See MoreUpdate to my pavlova, meringue cake topped with fruit.
Comments (6)That would have looked very nice decorated all the way round, but yes, egg whites needed a lot more beating. The old Hershey's recipe for fudge can be made quite hard. Let it cook for a minute or so past the soft-ball stage, then when you beat it, don't stop as soon as it stops looking glossy, keep beating till it starts to come together, and you'll get a hard, sort of crystalline fudge: Rich Cocoa Fudge Ingredients: 3 cups sugar 2/3 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa or HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Cocoa 1/8 teaspoon salt 1-1/2 cups milk 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Directions: 1. Line 8-or 9-inch square pan with foil, extending foil over edges of pan. Butter foil. 2. Mix sugar, cocoa and salt in heavy 4-quart saucepan; stir in milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to full rolling boil. Boil, without stirring, until mixture reaches 234°F on candy thermometer or until small amount of mixture dropped into very cold water, forms a soft ball which flattens when removed from water. (Bulb of candy thermometer should not rest on bottom of saucepan.) Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. DO NOT STIR. Cool at room temperature to 110°F (lukewarm). Beat with wooden spoon until fudge thickens and just begins to lose some of its gloss. Quickly spread into prepared pan; cool completely. Cut into squares....See More- 7 years ago
