Exterior Design Dilemma Paint

Help me pick a color for our house

We have a 1914 bungalow and our contractor talked us into Stucco skin over the existing stucco. Our previous goal was to have a Sage exterior with cream trim and red/brick accents. The brand of stucco our contractor uses is Paraex and the two colors we kinda like are Sweet Grass and Cavern. What do you think?

I like the combo w/the rust color,,,last pic. But maybe something that comes off as a bit more sage green. in the pic, it looks very gray with green undertone.

kind of like a mixture between those two greens on the left. (and your cafe cream looks like it has a red/pink undertone. look for a warmer white) see the diff, below?

There is a free software to download scanned pics of house then you can "paint" to see if you like it? They have several major paint supplers in the paint database. Takes some time but really works.

Hello all - so we have a couple weeks to finalize the paint color and I am really leaning towards SW Naval on the siding & Colonnade Gray on garage door. Naval is a bit lighter than the original navy I posted earlier (Anchors Aweigh). As mentioned the shutters are less than a year old and we don’t want to paint them. The dark navy should hopefully tie in pretty well with the shutters. If they don’t we can always paint the shutters later. The front door has been ordered and will be painted the same as siding. Thoughts?

You have to paint Brown color for the roof and light cream for the bricks if you want an antique look because you putting in question you love the antique look you have to paint the gray color for the bricks and Light cream for the roof.

these two are Behr colors

don't be afraid to be a little daring w/the colors. that's what these houses were done with. Autumn shades and great combos. I love this darker pea green w/the magenta door and creamy trim color.

these are your historic colors. beautiful shades to choose from! look closely, they tell you which ones are the trim colors.

Is that inspo pic a home near you? If so, ask them what green they used.

I like the raisin color on the window trim.

BM raisin torte

or the Borscht color. also like the natural tan shade for your lighter color.

now you just need a soft sage tone, but nothing with a lot of gray in it. you want to be able to see the green w/no issue.

Generally you'd use Paraex if you have really cracked stucco. I didn't see anywhere in your post that cracking was an issue; just that you want to change the color. If cracking isn't an issue, I wouldn't recommend paying a lot of money for Paraex; a simple paint job will do.

Have you checked out your contractor with the BBB for complaints? Perhaps you want to before going further with him. Just sayin...
