Help me pick house colors. Please help me pick house colors!

We bought our house 2 years ago and are finally ready to repaint it, which it desperately needs. We are not planning to paint the brick, though I do love a good lime wash. The bright white color it currently is is too bright and can be blinding when the sunlight hits it the right way.

Also, if anyone has lime washed brick, please let me know if it is an easy diy or not. I love the antiqued look of letting the brick show through slightly.

Would pull the grey color from the roof for the siding, and then change shutter color to black.

Or pull one of the brown colors from the brick.

Less colors give a more cohesive look.

You have to paint Brown color for the roof and light cream for the bricks if you want an antique look because you putting in question you love the antique look you have to paint the gray color for the bricks and Light cream for the roof.

Generally you'd use Paraex if you have really cracked stucco. I didn't see anywhere in your post that cracking was an issue; just that you want to change the color. If cracking isn't an issue, I wouldn't recommend paying a lot of money for Paraex; a simple paint job will do. Have you checked out your contractor with the BBB for complaints? Perhaps you want to before going further with him. Just sayin...

@Beverly gave you a great idea to get rid of the boxy feel to the house. But yes, the foundation color is off. It should be creamy like the house, so paint that once the warmer weather comes around. The steps, in particular, really clash as people approach the front door, so that may be bothering you more.
