Comments (9)Sometimes as a Max ten gets bigger, one or two leads decide to go their own way. Mostly the plant grows up, but not always. I like to keep the plant growing up, and mostly it does. To keep it neat and to avoid having it sprawl all over I clip off pieces. This works the same as any plant division. Do it when there is new growth. There will, of course, be no roots involved. Not to worry, just pot it up and pretend it is a plant. It will grow its own roots because it needs to. This makes an ok trade or gift if you disclose the fact that it is still establishing roots. I have seen them for sale that seem as if they are fresh rootless cuttings, and I think that is not cool. A plant for sale should have roots....See MoreWhat have I got here?

Comments (13)but.. but... the fungus did NOT cause the holes.. and the fungicide will not fix the holes.. so whats the point.. just to expose yourself to the stuff??? what were those bugs.. which i doubt you have... beetles of some kind .... drat.. i will have to reanimate that brain cell ... regardless .... the bugs were thirsty .. they bite a cell.. drink the liquid.. wonder off.. and the fungus takes the opportunity .... find the bug.. PROPERLY ID IT... and act on that ... [of course.. they could be long gone] by chance.. are these plants that in previous years were shaded by your lollipops??? are they all fragrant hosta.. like the one you named ...
