Believe me or not, but I prefer old fashion toggle switches, they are more convenient and are easier to handle in the dark. I will replace bathroom switches with the fancy ones anyway but for another reason, I have a z-wave network at my home that allows to control lights, locks and other stuff but old fashion z-wave toggle switches discontinued and only rocker z-wave switches are now available. When you turn lights and fan in the bathroom on, Z-wave controller will automatically turn them off after 20-30 minutes. Very convenient feature. Good luck with your project, have fun!

Congratulations on your new home! I have, like others who have responded to your post, had considerable luck with garage sales, estate sales, and thrift shops. Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Goodwill, Salvation Army, and St. Vincent de Paul can all be good sources for furniture and housewares. Nextdoor can be a good source for free or reasonably priced items (I know this from experience; others have had success with Craigslist and/or Freecycle, but I have not bought anything on either of those sites). Discount stores (Target, Walmart, and the like) can be fruitful, as can IKEA (you may want to check reviews of products on the internet before buying). I have even had some luck in finding items that have been placed at curbside or next to dumpsters for disposal but happened to be just what I needed for a particular purpose. Be wary of used cushions and pillows, as they may harbor vermin; if you buy such items used, have them cleaned thoroughly. Create idea books, but set a realistic budget and stick to it.

Grey goes with a lot of colors. You can accent in royal blue or purple. It all depends on how out of your shell you want to be.

The back and forth has been going on for weeks and u have always been genuinely eager to help me. I thought about the chests and everyone’s right, it’s the best option for my small room. I’m big on symmetry too, so that’s the best option with that as well. Everything will be centered which makes me happy. With that being said, i want to check out Home Goods, Ashley, and a few other furniture stores so I can see the chests in person. However, nothing is open on Long island where i live, and we aren’t even in phase one yet 😢. I’ve been quarantined for weeks with two little kids, driving myself insane with my room. I have also been driving Julie insane too I’m sure which I feel bad about. So i am going to give my room a break for now until I can see some three drawer chests in person. Julie, we spoke about this before and i scrolled up to see the old comments. I will need two chests 32 inches or less...so now I will know what to look for. I want my furniture to be light or a gray wash. Once I find one, of course I will consult with Julie and the rest of my houzz buds. Thank you so much for everything this far!!!!😉
