What color pillows can I use with brown leather furniture and mahogany
Comments (19)Go for color/texture/pattern that enhances the style of your room. If modern, maybe cream or tan with a woven or nubby texture. Is there any art, rugs, drapes in the room that you can pull a color from? I have brown leather with dark wood sofas and chairs in the living room. I wanted sort of a world/mid-eastern vibe (not too heavy-handed), so my pillows are a variety of fabrics/patterns that resemble oriental rugs. Actually, one of them is a kilim rug remnant. There are a variety of browns, tans, greens, greys, blues, red, yellow, white and orange. Maybe pick one patterned pillow and some plain ones that compliment it....See MoreMix leather and fabric (cream colored) furniture?
Comments (4)I think it depends on how long you plan to keep the sofa and how long you plan to keep the chairs. I find the extreme color contrast combined with the texture contrast too jarring for my taste, so I wouldn't want that mix long-term. If both pieces are long-term investments, I'd look for a fabric for the chairs that has more of a dark and light mix, to make it look like a more purposeful transition. If the chairs are long-term and the sofa is just a placeholder until you can get what you really want for the new house then make the chairs exactly what you want with the idea that a better sofa that ties in is on the horizon....See MoreWould a brown leather work in this space?? Comments (24)Depending on your kitchen design as not seeing the whole perspective I do think you could do eames chairs in your dining space like above to incorporate the metals and textures to create the clean lines and industrial rustic feel. It really depends on mixing two leathers in the adjoining rooms as what you choose but anything is possible with the right combination. Again, best of luck....See MoreRugs for a brown leather sectional, reddish-brown flooring
