What type of outside light to get?

i am putting my house up soon to sell and noticed how terrible my outside light fixture is . was thinking of getting a white lantern style lamp to match the flower box. what do you think?

No, you should match the stainless/nickel color of your door hardware and mailbox. But you can surely do something more interesting/contemporary.

Lovely sun here too! Just came in from getting just the first wave of my sowing done and putting some more onions in the ground. I did the sowing in the hoop house and had to come back in the house after about 1/2 hour to get out of my sweats! LOL, it was 92 in the hoop house. I've got all of the windows up in the house and I am pretending that it is spring! Was really hard to resist sowing all of the heat lovers though! Yesterday we started moving the tree top chipping up the "hill" in the back yard and spreading it onto the "mini orchard" to be space. It started to rain big drops so we quit. It rained for the next 8 hours. No rain, some blue skies so after I feed us, back at it. No baby, she's thankfully settled down! Yes, Doug, tons more light. The neighbor across the street too, my trees blocked a fair amount of their morning sun. Pictures coming, real soon.

Can you grow citrus outside if winter temperatures don't get above 55?

In my experience the answer is no, citrus will not grow during the Winter at 55 degrees, although they will survive. You want them to put on any growth, a clear plastic covering may help during Spring and late Fall, will raise the temperature by about 5 degrees during the day. Warmer temperatures are better than sunlight, where you live. The trees are not going to be able to put on any growth anyway, so might as well overwinter. (when the tree is just overwintering, 50-60 degrees are fine, since it's in a semi-dormant state and isn't really growing) It's true citrus in the ground often does better than citrus in pots brought inside during the Winter season but that has more to do with the roots.

In my county, plastic bags from the grocery store are banned, so you have to carry your own reusable bags when you shop. You can buy a paper bag at the store if you forget, but almost everyone I know/see is used to bringing their own. I keep about a dozen in the trunk, not as neatly stashed as I'd like. I carry the smallest wallet type purse that my iphone 6+ will fit in. My iphone is in a case with a body strap and a place for a few cards, so I keep my driver's license and one credit card in it. I know I'll remember to take my phone whenever I leave the house, so I will at least have the basics. I often leave my little wallet/purse at home or locked in the trunk of my car. I HATE carrying a purse (and my phone for that matter).

I rather like the design of your light fixture. It isn't the 'lantern' you see EVERYWHERE! Perhaps you could spray paint it to match your other metals.

You should match it to your mailbox and make it at least as big as the mailbox. Choose a sleek style.

Whatever you decide on, be sure it suits the mailbox and door especially. Where you might run into an issue is the width, given how close it is to the edge.

Also consider adding a complementary mat, as it will help to create a good first impression.

Oooh size is a good point ! Will have to check and measure. so it seems consensus is silver to match mailbox.
