What is with pork having all sorts of additives in it?

The other day, I bought some pork from ALDI and cooked it, seasoning it the way I normally season pork steaks. Well, it was very salty and at that point I figured the pork had some sodium solution in it. So when I went to ALDI again, I looked at the package and sure enough, all their pork had some sodium solution listed as an ingredient. I don't remember what all was listed, but it was quite the list with probably half a dozen things in it. So if you are on a low sodium diet....but cautious of the meats from ALDI and other places too, I am sure. Look at the label and make sure they aren't putting stuff in your meats. My husband is very sensitive to stuff like that so I will not buy that again. Then I bought some ground pork at Walmart and it had the same sort of stuff in it. I didn't realize it was "seasoned" when I bought it. I will certainly be buying my pork elsewhere! Anyway...just a head's up on that!
