Help with opinions on exterior color choice (Nichiha)
Comments (2)I love, love the color... I think 3 colors work generally work well together, but I'm leaning on not adding another color to the gables on your house. Are you going to be having shutters? If so, I'd add a third, really deep color there. I think if you posted your question in the decorating forum, you'd get a lot more help.. actually, there are talented ladies who may even photoshop the picture for you so that you can see both ways!...See MoreNeed help with exterior paint choice
Comments (3)Thanks for your response! I find this color of brick very hard to work with. I can see the black, or perhaps, medium charcoal, working. The front now looks like it does in the top picture. That is wrought iron fencing around the plantings. Do you think it would, visually, work, if just the window trim was painted, which would leave the white window. Or just leave the windows unpainted? The sliders would remain white. Can you visualize everything across painted black, and then all the brick...would that be too dark? Perhaps I could add color in the door area ( painting entrance door and switching to a full view storm door??...See MoreNeed help with paint choices for exterior housing
Comments (1)Are you painting the brick (or is that stone? Looks different in each photo.), as well? If not, I'd play off of the creamy white in the brick for a modern look. Similar to your current shutter color. Then add an accent color for your shutters and trim. Do a wood look garage and front door....See MoreHelp with exterior paint choices
Comments (3)White duck seems to be more of an off white. You could do a whiter white on the trim, such as Greek Villa or one of the coordinating colors above....See MoreShadyWillowFarm
