Plus a color to possibly make the 2 Ive chosen make a little more sense together. My painter says it looks like an ode to the Dallas Cowboys...eeeek!! As an Eagles fan I was especially concerned! I remember looking at raccoon hollow & its medium/dark taupe I think. Does look nice next to Revere Pewter though!

Boy, I can relate to all of these posts. I have RP in my open floor plan. On the walls that have natural light, it looks OK (not my favorite) but the adjoining family room with the screened porch next to it blocking the light, the walls look like green/yellow mud and I am stressing as to what to do. My trim & cabinets are off-white so i have to stay with the warm greys. I've even tried Sea Salt which looks dull. I'm going for an LRV of 65+ so I'm trying the sample board with the Repose Gray at 75% with the idea of the adjoining kitchen/nook at 100%. We will see. Next I'll try the Gray Owl - OC 52 i think. Beware.......there are two Gray Owls! The Oc 52 is the lighter version. To complicate matters, I have a beautiful silver gray sectional sofa that I'm working with. I appreciate all of the posts here.

First off, I can see you have so many colors right next to each other for swatching, and when I see a client do that I know I have lost them. Can you cover those colors, and regroup? There are too many colors... and now you are most likely unable to see any of them, even if you had a winner! A few color options to consider is Light Pewter, White Dove or Grey Owl (all Benjamin Moore) are all colors I have used in combo with Revere Pewter very successfully, and both options could work well in this space. Keep in mind when it is covering a larger space it doesn't look as dark as when it is in just one spot... and it will dry a different color. Another trick that designers sometimes do is purchasing a pearl or semi gloss finish which tends to read brighter since it allows the light to reflect off of the surface. You mentioned Sherwin Williams, but you are referencing Benjamin Moore color names. Benjamin Moore is the only one that does a pearl finish, so that is important. Let us know how you make out! ♥

We painted our bedroom storm and it is a DARK purple gray. Wouldn't recommend. But the rest of our house is the remaining colors on that pallette: Stormy Monday, Cement, and American White (which we darkened 30%). I love all of them. They look clean but still welcoming. Our house is primarily West facing and they do have purple and blue undertones depending on the time of day. I think the undertones help give the room a bit more life than a muddy grey would.
