Good to know that the Flame Vine is east to root. I am horrible at rooting cuttings. lol. Still, i am trying my hand at some bougainvillea cuttings and some oleander cuttings that i took from my own plants. The good thing ist that they are still green and healthy, but they don't seem to be rooting, at least not yet. I have a rangoon creeper that i grew from seed, but for some reason it has never gotten over three feet! im not kidding you. lol. It grows, then it stops growing and dries up and does it all over again. I know that it isn't from winter damage that it dries back because it'll do it at any given time of the year even spring. It's still in the ground and it gets the same care and water as a stephanotis floribunda and that one is ENOURMOUS. We'll see what happens. If it doesn't perk up this year, i'll probably dig it out and plant it elsewhere.

Sorry Lucy, still no pic. I did take some but can't upload. I finally have some brug blooms too. I don't know if it's my camera or my cable but I realized not all my pics had been loading the past few times I transfered them and now they won't load at all. I have to take the memory card out and put it in DS's camera. Unfortunately Jake and his camera left for the Outer Banks yesterday and won't be back until Monday.

First time Gardner, I can answer that. It's technically probably a 'semi' dwarf. But in a container kept tree we can limit size by pruning roots and tops. There are grafted trees regarded more as 'dwarf' that are on Flying Dragon rootstock. But even those can grow to become a proper little tree. I have some on their own roots that I limit their overall size by pruning them pretty aggressively in the early spring. (I also prune the roots back to keep them in the same sized containers) By offering root space the tops tend to grow much better. Citrus grow so quickly in just a couple months they can add back 4ft of growth! Grafted trees tend to grow slower though but still need pruned to maintain a shorter bushy type shape. Hope that helps explain a bit more.
