White Kitchen Counter top dilemma

Hi all,

I recently had to change my counter top options, as the one that i had picked ended up showing a light blue tone in my space (damn these grays).

I want a contrast, but not a strong one that will look like a counter is dividing my space. I've picked up this option(Lucent Quartz - Arctic White (LQ4600)), and I am looking for your help/feedback. I've attached a bunch of images to show what I've landed on now, the image of the stone in a larger slab format, the contrast with my current top in different nature lights (I have a lot of natural light in my kitchen), and some inspiration points as well.

I haven't decided on my back splash yet either, but it will be a something to pick up the light tones of the top. A subway tile in most cases, but not a typical big box one. Something a little more hand crafted with texture.

Would appreciate your feedback! Even to let me know if I am on the right track, and if the contrast between the top and white cabinets look good.

Thanks!
