Just wanted to say I agree. I like mixing finishes actually because I prefer a vintage feel and sometimes matchy matchy can read as too modern. However, the 2 finishes I think you really can't match well are chrome and polished nickel. Instead of looking like you did it purposely, it looks like you are trying to pass one off for the other. They aren't different enough to 'blend' them, so you're only option is to pass them off as the same. They ARE close enough that if you have small items, they would be fine.... In my half bath, the toilet paper holder and the rim around these little porcelain knob/hooks are polished nickel and everything else is chrome. There is so little of the nickel that I think I'm the only one who notices it (but believe me, I do notice it and it bugs me LOL.) I just think that the tub fixture is a LOT of chrome, and you couldn't try to pass them off as the same.

When I saw no one initially respond, I went ahead and just bought these off bellacor. 1) Kichler Lege Brushed Nickel Three Light fixture (it was on clearance for $109 but is back up to $218) for the narrow alcove. The Canarm Lyndi Brushed Nickel Four-Light Vanity Light for the bathroom (also $109). I decided to go with a wider fixture since the bathroom is bigger. The 3 light fixture just seemed too narrow at 23" wide (compared to 30" for this 4 light one). And this Designers Fountain Brushed Nickel Flush Mount with Milk Acrylic Lens ($68 on clearance) for the overhead light in the bathroom: I figured the brushed nickel/contemporary look would work and made sure the bulbs weren't halogen (the overhead one is a T9 fluorescent bulb).

Thank you, ladies. 2 sconces was my original choice, but wanted to consider other options because I’m not a designer ha! Great point about picking mirror first prior to lighting. My main concern was the electrician running wiring before the tile was sealed down, but was just here and can do it. Thanks so much for the advice!

I installed the Hansgrohe Croma 220 showerpipe with the required Basic Set in my remodeled shower. However, Hansgrohe also makes the Croma Green Showerpipe w/Tub Spout (also at Build) for installation with a bathtub. Note that the gallons per minute from the latter's shower head and hand shower are lower than those of the Croma 220. The controller has separate adjustments for on/off and temperature so once you've found the temperature you like, you can turn the shower head or hand shower on and off without affecting the temperature. I wouldn't move the shower head towards the center of the tub; you need room the lather up. The Hansgrohe products don't support it, but I see no reason to run the shower head and handshower at the same time (but I only use the hand shower to wash down the shower walls and glass after I've showered). Only the Basic Set is inside the wall so if anything needs repair or replacement, it can be done without ripping apart the wall.
