The accent chair is lousing you up. Your sofa is on the cool side, so is the rug. But the "gold" you have on chair seems off, and yellowy bright, even with the gilded light ( more bronze and warm ) and even the coffee table. Both the light and the table are fine......I think the struggle is in the chair. Go deeper....and at some point maybe a change of fabric on the chair.

I happen to love simple ranch homes adding stone to a brick house is a bad idea I like the new front door and garage doors planned and IMO unless you are planning on a whole new facade I do not think porticos work on these homes. You could look a bit more MCM style garage door s and front door and of course the landscaping IMO that is what would enhance the look.

Glad to do it. So I put a larger rug in. Look for one that sits under most of your furniture. Probably 10 x 14’. But don’t go as far as into the walkway. I moved your art piece. A floor lamp like this one will provide both reading light and ambient lighting when watching TV. I think your current chairs will fit where I placed these chairs.
