Early blooming morning glory, tall morning glory
Comments (2)My ivy leafed small light blue morning glories bloomed first and got to about four foot tall. The Early morning, or tall mix got tallest at about ten foot and bloomed much later. Because they needed to be sown after frost I didn't see a lot of difference between my direct sown and winter sown. I didn't use the best soil though and my drainage was bad. Comments (11)Yes The first plant is a Epiphyllum hookeri to some and a E strictum to others. One of those many names for the same plant issue. The second one , I think since it is a pass along nameless plant, is Cereus peruvianus. I am thinking of cutting it back and rerooting one of them to make branches and a this plant in the pot. It is a 15 gallon pot maybe. And sense I am one of those obsessed individuals when one puts a camera in my hands. One is good, more is better.
