New House looks like a cave...Please help w exterior paint color?
Comments (3)A lighter color would look nice. I would try to match the stone work in front, or at least doesn't clash with it..Color??I went with a beige, isn't everybody. One color I was leaning towards was graige (not sure of the spelling Sherwin Williams carries it), a cross between gray and beige....See MoreHELP! Needing exterior house color paint colors
Comments (3)I need to see the siding material. and BTW garage doors can be painted what trim are you talking about? A picture from further back that can be enlarged would be a big help also the front door area....See MoreMy Green Exterior house paint turned out too Bright…! Help!
Comments (12)Based on the feed back…I was looking at the different ideas, taking off the shutters, or making them wider ,painting them off white/cream or dark brown or black, painting the garage door off white/cream , painting the house door and/or the railing and posts brown. Also adding more red flowers. I am leaning towards painting the shutters black or dark brown, i did strongly consider making the garage off white as well, to match the trim but i will need to look around my neighbourhood to see if any of the houses are painted that way ….otherwise i will hear from the HOA . I will also add some red plants or flowers around the porch. Thank you for the ideas , and also for helping me realize that it’s not an entirely horrible color (like the lime green house posted above, by ’Jinx’ …😁) - I just need to get used to it....See MorePlease help with exterior paint color and trim color on historic home!
Comments (37)Just a quick update to say I chose paint colors! I went with Miller Paints (only in the PNW). A for the body of the house, B for the main trim, C for the mullions. Also took an updated photo of my house to share for those of you who commented on the vines on the trellises on my house. (Still lots more vegetation to get under control before painting, but it is a constant process!) I'll share an update when the painting is completed, but it will be awhile. I work more than full time, have lots of weekend getaways planned for the summer, and the prep work is going to be incredibly time-intensive (but important)! Just need to get it all painted before the rain starts in the fall. Thank you all for sharing your suggestions and opinions! (Please excuse the hose, garden watering was underway!)...See Morem111675
